HostShield
A plaintext hostname collection for ad blockers and host-based filtering workflows.
HostShield is intentionally plain: the value is in transparent filtering data rather than a heavy application layer.
Problem
Host-based blocking is useful only when lists stay simple enough to inspect, combine, and update.
Implementation
HostShield keeps the artifact plain and portable so it can work with multiple adblocking or DNS-level workflows.
What it does
- Provides a transparent list that can be inspected without specialized tooling.
- Fits simple text-based adblocking pipelines.
